Summary

The Digital Engagement Strategist- Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be a critical member of the Customer Innovations group which develops technology-driven marketing infrastructure and best practices to meet the evolving needs of Seagen’s growing business. This subject matter expert will leverage their expertise in CRM execution and measurement to improve engagement across online experience, content strategy, email marketing, and media to raise the overall efficacy of Seagen’s marketing ecosystem.

In addition to identifying the gaps and opportunities for effective and efficient data-driven marketing, the Digital Engagement Strategist-CRM will work closely with franchise marketing teams and agency partners to bridge campaign marketing from message development to execution and optimization across channels.

This exciting new role is perfect for an experienced digital marketing strategist with strong technical skills in the CRM space, Salesforce products in particular, who is eager to help marketers build and evolve their ecosystems from launch. Pharmaceutical and oncology experience is preferred.

This role will report to the Associate Director, Customer Innovation and be instrumental in delivering a competitive advantage and supporting our mission to deliver products that make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Map, evolve, and optimize the Seagen digital communications ecosystem at the enterprise and product level with a special focus on the HCP communications ecosystem between sales and NPP.
  • Drive digital conversion tactics, strategy, innovation, and standards from business case development through implementation, working with internal and external partners.
  • Lead the development and implementation of segmentation and cross-channel communication journeys, including trigger-based, machine learning, and next-best-action with brands and their agency partners.
  • Apply all types of data to inform engagement strategy, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data to drive targeted and personalized programs.
  • Champion digital fluency across the commercial marketing teams, working closely with internal and external development partners to ensure best practices for usability, accessibility, conversion, and efficiency are maintained.
  • Develop best practices, KPIs, and roadmaps to evolve marketing programs within franchises and across commercial teams from the standpoint of engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple functions, including Marketing, Sales, Global Marketing Insights, Information Technology and Finance to understand key business issues, priorities and synchronize on key dependencies.
  • Drive enthusiasm for and education on the emerging trends, requirements, and best practices for a healthy and evolving marketing ecosystem.
  • Serve as a key member of the Customer Innovation team proactively seeking out opportunities to apply technical expertise to drive innovation, process improvement/optimization and/or enhance the contributions of the function.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years digital marketing and advertising experience with 3+ years’ experience in HCP, oncology highly preferred.
  • Significant experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and Datorama with Certifications preferred
  • Demonstrable experience with the following platforms/tools: Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, Sitecore, Veeva CRM and Vault, Google Analytics, Asana, Sharepoint.
  • Seasoned digital strategist with proven CRM experience mapping and optimizing opportunities for conversion via journey creation, asset development, user experience, content strategy, email marketing, measurement, testing, and optimization
  • Experience bringing concept reviews and assets or programs through medical/legal/regulatory reviews as well as working with compliance and privacy teams.
  • Cross Team (multiple teams) and Cross Product (multiple products) experience required, with Experience working on projects that span multiple business units.
  • Proven experience communicating complicated marketing processes, interdependencies, platforms, and other technical topics simply and clearly for senior management and other non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think holistically in addition to attending to the most minute technical details.
  • Comfort collaborating with a diverse group of team members and stakeholders --both geographically and areas of expertise.
  • Ability to build enthusiasm for and educate less technical stakeholders on the emerging trends, requirements, and best practices for a healthy and evolving marketing ecosystem.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%.

The hiring pay range for this position is $111,000 to $143,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role.   Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
