Summary

As a Senior Integration Engineer in the IT-Enterprise Tech and Solutions group, you will be responsible for building, orchestrating, deploying, and supporting complex integration patterns between systems, processes, and service layers. You will have the opportunity to work alongside stakeholders, both internal and external, on several high-profile global data integration initiatives at Seagen. The ideal profile of this position calls for a flexible and well-rounded individual – someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and has strong organization and communication skills.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test and deploy integration solutions for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid scenarios using the Dell Boomi platform
  • Establish strong relationships with business representatives, participate in requirements gathering workshops and act as a key contributor to the solution design and delivery
  • Participate in activities like, but not limited to, proof-of-concept development, demos, and post-deployment support of cross-team integration efforts
  • Ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives
  • Create and deliver technical design documentation through analysis of business processes and discussion with business owners
  • Support the existing Boomi EAI platform including pro-active monitoring, deployments, logging, and reporting
  • Perform research on relevant technology products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the industry
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities
  • Resolve user requests and incidents, and support end-user communication and training
  • Ability to effectively gauge, communicate and mitigate technical debt and risk
  • Other duties as assigned by organization leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 years of IT experience, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the Boomi Platform/AtomSphere field
  • Demonstrated experience building master data management systems
  • Technical understanding of modern Web Services and integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, (S)FTP, OData, Json, Xml, and Open API
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience integrating with various data warehousing and data lake solutions
  • Experience with modern development best practices and knowledge of source control systems like Git
  • Exceptional integration architecture, design, and documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills, a customer service attitude, and demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated experience with agile development, continuous integration and delivery, and DevOps
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others, to influence based on knowledge and experience
  • Experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and/or medical device industry is desirable
  • Experience with 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, SOX, and software validation processes is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical or scientific discipline OR equivalent experience
