Prerequisite Qualification:

Summary

Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) is seeking an IT application support professional to operationally lead and sustain the EKM Enterprise M365/SharePoint team and manage systems administration, systems analysis, and application support functions within this broad endeavor. This position requires a willingness to play a highly active role, aiding the Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) team to fulfill EKM’s global objectives as it relates to M365/SharePoint application and system support. This role executes on prioritized initiatives leading systems analysis and program support delivery for the M365/SharePoint team.

This position provides operational and tactical oversight of the administration and maintenance of the global M365/SharePoint environment under the guidance of EKM Leadership. This role implements efficient cross-functional models that support the ability to assess and measure M365 application/system support effectiveness within the organization utilizing integrated thinking and practices. These capabilities will support the continued evolution of Seagen’s organization and culture in support of achieving consistent and predictable business results.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Act as the daily, operational lead for a diverse team of administrators and specialists
  • Coordinate M365 system and application management, including prioritization, monitoring progress, and communicating updates to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Advise, report on, and support execution of initiatives, priorities, and corporate departmental goals to ensure alignment with desired outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders to proactively identify and work to resolve potential challenges
  • Support key meetings, manage topic flow, generate agendas, facilitate meetings, and document/communicate meeting outcomes
  • Partner with IT Leaders, execute on IT strategy across the EKM Department, in alignment with corporate objectives
  • Partner with the EKM extended leadership team to design and deliver IT operational excellence that meet and exceed Seagen’s expectations
  • Partner closely with the IT Change Management Office to strategize and execute communications for EKM efforts across and facilitate communications across IT groups, user, and other communities
  • Support the thought processes to establish new functions in the organization and provide analytical and decision support across a wide range of topics including but not limited to portfolio analysis, systems administration, development, operations, and risk management
  • Inspire Service, Teamwork, and Accountability – Serve as a model for new and existing team members. Provide guidance for junior team members
  • Support a Culture of Continuous Improvement – Acting as an internal coach and consultant, identifying opportunities to remove process waste and scale automation and performance metrics across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 9 years as an operational team lead with experience in a challenging environment (Technology/Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry preferred, with GxP experience)
  • ITIL experience required
  • Strong initiative with the ability to work on and deliver projects of varying complexity and timelines simultaneously
  • Solid people skills including the ability to build trust, influence, and relationships across a large and diverse group
  • History of successfully navigating within varying degrees of ambiguity in a challenging environment
  • High standards of excellence and exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter who identifies and helps solve problems and can deal with ambiguity. Ability to take independent action, working with a high-level problem or concept, developing the right next steps to propose resolution, and ensuring successful outcome
  • Information Technology and Architecture acumen with proven leadership skills
  • Balance creativity and innovation against practical / cost effective approaches
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (written/verbal), including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others, and articulate information in the appropriate media
  • Expertise in the following tools: Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Microsoft Outlook email, Visio, and various Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power-BI, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Experience with 21 CFR Part 11 strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally (10%)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline
  • 9+ years of enterprise applications support experience and systems analyst experience
