Summary:
The Manager, Corporate Finance, will serve as a key member in supporting Seagen’s financial planning engine. This role will support a broad swath of Corporate FP&A activities including maintaining corporate level assumptions in our financial planning systems and preparing Corporate FP&A deliverables including quarterly forecast, annual budget, and executive/board level reporting.
Principal Responsibilities:
- The Manager, Corporate FP&A will be support overall Corporate FP&A forecasting governance, consolidation, and reporting
- Key member of Corporate FP&A team leading utilization and governance of our financial planning systems (Oracle Cloud Planning/EPM)
- Support corporate level driver evaluation and refinement (compensation/merit, corporate level allocations, etc.)
- Partner with Corporate FP&A team to support corporate planning cycles (quarterly forecast, annual budget) and reporting
- Support data integrity and consolidation of capital expenditures and capital project governance in Oracle Cloud Planning/EPM
- Support monthly insights reporting for finance leadership team and executive committee
- Support ad hoc financial modeling and reporting analysis to measure the impact of strategic decisions on financial projections
- Prepare consolidated analysis of financial and operational results versus plan/forecast and highlight significant variances for internal reporting
- Drive development and automation across financial process to provide meaningful efficiencies
Qualifications:
Basic requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years financial planning and analysis experience
- Extensive experience with financial planning systems (Oracle Cloud/Hyperion preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to variety of audiences
Preferred requirements:
- Pharmaceutical or Biotech experience preferred, not required
- Excellent Excel modeling skills including operational FP&A
- Optimizes Work Processes: Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to variety of audiences
- Demonstrated Strategic Ability: The ability to think bigger picture across diverse functional areas of the business and help arrive at the best decision for the overall organization Ability to incorporate multiple perspectives and variables to analyze issues in order to reach an opinion and recommendation on best path forward along with articulation of pros and cons of different available options and proposed recommendations
- Results Orientation: The ideal candidate will be results-driven and must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The person must have the ability to deliver results and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals and is willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions. A “can-do” attitude is an absolute must.
- Business Savvy and Financial Acumen: The candidate will possess exceptional financial analytical and problem-solving skills. These skills must be balanced by sound business judgment. Hands-on, with the ability to transition from strategic thinking to tactical execution.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA and/or CPA preferred

The hiring pay range for this position is $112,000 to $145,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
