Seattle Genetics
Summer Intern – MBA Commercial Global Market Insights
Internships - Bothell, Washington
Description
Seattle Genetics is an emerging global multi-product biotechnology company that develops and commercializes innovative antibody-based therapies for the treatment of cancer. The company’s industry-leading antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) technology harnesses the targeting ability of antibodies to deliver cell-killing agents directly to cancer cells. In addition to one marketed product, we are advancing a strong product pipeline of novel therapies for solid tumors and blood-related cancers designed to address significant unmet medical needs and improve treatment outcomes for patients.
Summary
Seattle Genetics is seeking two high performing candidates to join the commercial organization as 2019 summer MBA interns. The positions will report to the Associate Directors of our Global Market Insights team at either the Elliot Bay or Bothell campus. Throughout the summer, the intern will take direct responsibility for mission-critical projects in several areas, which may include forecasting, competitive intelligence, market performance analysis, primary market research, and pipeline analysis. The candidate will be expected to come up to speed very quickly on the product for which he or she is responsible. We are recruiting one intern for Adcetris, our antibody drug conjugate (ADC) approved to treat several types of lymphoma and a second for Tucatinib, our late stage pipeline product, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) currently in a pivotal trial for the treatment of metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer. At the end of the summer, the intern will deliver a presentation to the commercial organization on a selected project.
