Description

Summary

The Tucatinib brand team is looking for an in-line marketing team member to lead the execution of key promotional tactics associated the consumer channel, which includes direct to consumer marketing, direct to consumer advertising and patient marketing.

The Product Manager/Sr. Product Manager, Consumer Marketing is responsible for the overall marketing of Tucatinib to patients and consumers. Primary accountabilities will include launch planning, definition of channel strategy and tactics, execution of branded and disease education initiatives and tactics, insight based message development, and sales training facilitation. This position will report to the Director for Tucatinib and work closely with leadership in Sales, Managed Markets, Global Market Insights and Market Planning, as well as Corporate Communications, Advocacy and other relevant cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the Consumer channel strategy for Tucatinib, including the business plan, communication tactics, production and implementation plans. Ensure key consumer insights, data and understanding are represented and leveraged throughout the brand planning process.
  • Lead execution of the marketing strategy for the Consumer channel including all related initiatives and tactics; ensure delivery of a positive, compliant patient and consumer experience, and meet annual business plan goals.
  • Oversee and approve Patient Advisory strategy; responsible for patient advisory boards in collaboration with advocacy team.
  • Effectively participate in PARC (Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review); accountable for ensuring all consumer channel deliverables are reviewed and approved per established processes.
  • Foster productive agency relationships and manage integration among agency partners.
  • Define the digital and media blueprint necessary to build strategic prospects for future indications and consumer opportunities.
  • Effectively manage marketing budget for the Consumer channel; advocate as necessary to secure funding for key consumer initiatives, make recommendations to the team on budget trade-off decisions and risk management.
  • Responsible for adherence to all relevant company policies and processes, as well as applicable external compliance obligations.
  • Accountable for tactic discontinuation plans, including development, approval and execution of retirement plans.
  • Collaborate with the Global Market Insights team to identify key insights for the brand and channel, maintain a current understanding of patient and consumer data, and identify opportunities to improve marketing efforts. Use this information to refine brand tactics accordingly.
  • Actively monitor and measure the performance of consumer and patient marketing via performance metrics from agency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience.
  • Oncology experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop actionable insights from complex clinical data and market research.
  • Knowledge of OPDP regulations and FDA promotional policy.
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence without authority across functional stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure strong execution.
  • Working knowledge of product development, regulatory, clinical and medical affairs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of appropriate marketing and medical interactions.
  • Ability to establish and foster productive, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with the management of external marketing agencies, project plans and budgets.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills up, down and across the organization.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; MBA, Pharm.D., Ph.D. or other related graduate-level degree preferred.
